Last night, Seattle’s design community gathered at local branding and design agency Tether Inc. to kick off the 2014 Design Festival.

In case you missed it, there are still plenty of fun events planned for the next two weeks. Starting this weekend the SDF Block Party at Occidental Plaza will feature an array of design demonstrations, workshops, tours, and more! This year’s festival focuses on design in motion by exploring the way design moves us through time and space.

Join Seattle’s creative community in celebrating the dynamic designs that surround us. There are plenty of ways to get involved—whether you’re a designer, photographer, or simply interested in the craft, the SDF website lists several ways you can become a part of this unique experience that only happens once a year.
