Seattle darling BenDeLaCreme rose to prominence this year after being a contestant in the sixth season of the popular reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race, for which she won Miss Congeniality. During this time she also hosted live screenings of RPDR at Century Ballroom, attended by hundreds of her Seattle fans on a weekly basis. The widespread online outrage at her elimination from the show further proved her immense popularity, both in the United States and abroad.

After two sold-out Off-Broadway runs, she returns to Century Ballroom this weekend for three performances of her acclaimed solo show Terminally Delightful. The show, with its combination of camp, burlesque, video, music and spoken narrative—with the solid added dose of political commentary that fans have come to expect from her other popular annual shows Homo for the Holidays and Freedom Fantasia—centers around the notoriously shy ‘Boy Ben’ coming to grips with fame and recognition outside of the drag persona that he created as a teenager to cope with depression. It is bound to live up to its name.
