Join the James Beard Foundation for Taste of America, a night of culinary stars and an exclusive dining event to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Friday, September 26. The evening begins with a tasting reception featuring an exciting lineup of Seattle’s finest chefs. Guests will then enjoy a unique four-course, seated dinner designed by all-star Marc Murphy, local star Tom Douglas, and host chef Kerry Sear. Spend Saturday, September 27 at Sur La Table in Kirkland starting with a Free cooking demo at 10:30 a.m. with Marc Murphy, cook book signings, tastings from La Panzenella, Theo Chocolate, Mt. Townsend Creamery. It is fun for the whole family.
The James Beard Foundation is proud to donate a portion of the evening’s proceeds to the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America® Scholarship Fund. Local culinary students are invited to apply for this culinary scholarship through jamesbeard.org.
