Come celebrate the Asian Art Museum’s special exhibit Deco Japan: Shaping Art and Culture, 1920-1945 on Friday July 25. The evening will begin indoors with an exhibition viewing and guest lecture by textile artist Yoshiko Iwamoto Wada. Afterwards, the fun will move to the Volunteer Park Amphitheater. A selection of Deco-era music will be played, followed by a showing of silent film: The Lady and the Beard, directed by Yasujiro Ozu.

For some added fun, come dressed in an outfit inspired by this fascinating time period!
