bastille-bash-logoCheck out Madison Valley for the third annual Bastille Bash this Saturday, July 12, celebrating the festive French holiday a little in advance. (The actual holiday is this coming Monday.)

More than 3000 attendees will get a taste the French lifestyle and joie de vivre with French-inspired foods from some of Seattle’s highly acclaimed restaurants, such as Crush, Café Flora and Harvest Vine. Guests will also enjoy Northwest and French wine tastings, spa services, art classes for kids, live music and entertainment, including dance and burlesque on the main stage. More than a dozen beverage producers will be pouring, including Forgeron winery, Sidetrack distillery and Ninkasi brewery.

Proceeds benefit two partnering charities: Art with Heart, who help at- risk children overcome trauma through creative activities and lessons, and the Detlef Schrempf Foundation, which provides assistance to numerous other non-profits serving families and children in the Pacific Northwest.

Admission is free to the fetival, and food from participating restaurants is purchased with food tickets, which can be purchased at the event or ahead of time at www.brownpapertickets.com in $10 increments. (Food is priced in bites of $2.50, $5.00, and $7.50 servings.) Wine tickets include ten tastings for $20 per person. For an event schedule go to www.BastilleBash.com. Bon Appétit!
