This month, Room 104 will be hosting a “Cash and Carry Art Sale.” This event provides simpler, and more affordable, access into the arts community. All works will be within a $180 limit and able to be brought home day of purchase. Room 104, located in the Tashiro Kaplan Building in Pioneer Square, traditionally presents works in a variety of mediums and styles. This event is also an exciting chance to decorate, or re-decorate! Room 104 “promotes the idea that art is not a frill nor luxury but an enrichment that is absolutely necessary to the health and growth of individuals and society.” The Cash and Carry Event seeks to promote this mindset and encourage one and all to delve into the art world.
