Nordstrom Designer Preview 2014This year The Nordstrom Designer Preview will be on July 24, 2014 at the Smith Cove Event Center at Pier 91. The live runway show features fall fashion from top American and European designers and is the only time these collections will be shown together outside of fashion week. There is a cocktail party prior to the runway show, and following the show guests can enjoy dessert, listen to tunes by DJ Javier Peral, and be among the first to shop the collections.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Seattle Art Museum‘s exhibit Pop Departures, featuring the works of iconic artists from the American pop art movement—Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Claes Oldenburg—as well as those artists who were influenced by them—Ed Ruscha, James Rosenquist, Tom Wesselmann and more. The exhibition will be on view at SAM Downtown from October 9, 2014 to January 11, 2015.  In 2013, the Nordstrom Designer Preview was the first ever Vogue-sponsored event and the magazine’s West Coast fashion editor Lawren Howell hosted. Last year’s soiree raised $150,000 for Seattle Art Museum.
