This month is the anniversary month for Capitol Hill’s art walk, so in addition to the regularly scheduled awesomeness of tons of art openings, there will also be a party going on and tons of fun things to do.

One thing that I am really excited about is the art walk tour being led by City Art’s writer and art lioness Amanda Manitach along with curator, troublemaker and performer DK Pan. Co-founders of TMRW Party, they will lead a tour to the Red Wall in Cal Anderson park plus a couple of their favorite creative places.

This will be one of four different tours offered that day, which each leave from the Shelter House at varying hours. You can see the facebook invite for a schedule of those.

There’s ALL kinds of stuff going on. You can get a Art Walk passport, and if you get four stamps and turn it in at the Vermillion After Party, then you will be in a raffle to win prizes. There will be DJ’s and music from the Shelter House in Cal Anderson. There will be cool people. There will be nice weather (we hope!) and, of course, there will be ART of all varieties.

Likes a good steak salad, is not currently in love, and would prefer medium rare on both counts.
