One of the best-kept not so secret of well-dressed women is designer consignment shopping. These days it is the savvy way to wear the latest styles, brands you covet, and find beautiful investment pieces at a fraction of the retail cost. Longing for a Stella McCartney bag, a pair of Chanel flats, or a great Marni coat? Designer consignment is where you can find pieces like these as well as unique jewelry, beautiful basics and a treasure trove of the latest looks that will make your wallet very happy.
So where to find designer consignment? Lucky for us, local designer consignment seller MB Finds is opening a pop up shop in the old Sway and Cake space in downtown Seattle for a three-day shopping extravaganza that will knock your socks off.
MB Finds is the brainchild of Mary Bridget Pehl, who began her business in 2011, after running her designer consignment business for women for seven years. MB Finds does trunk shows, pop up shops, and has a bustling online store, where the carefully curated couture has looks for every type of style and taste. Last fall, I scored a pair of beautiful Chloe studded boots that I had been dreaming of owning, but were a bit out of my reach. When they showed up at MB Finds in my size, the clouds parted and the birds began to sing. OK…just kidding, but boy, was I happy.
The pop up sale will be in downtown Seattle at 1613 Sixth Avenue, two doors down from the Flagship Nordstrom in the old Sway and Cake space. Sale hours are: Wednesday, May 28, from 10 AM to 8 PM; Thursday, May 29 from 10 AM to 6 PM; Friday, May 30, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The sale will feature racks of high-end consignment pieces including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Lanvin, Chloe, Missoni, as well as Theory, Vince, Current Elliott and rag & bone and so much more. In the meantime, you can check out the store online or keep up with the latest finds on MB Finds on Facebook. Mark your calendars, ladies. Its going to be fun.
